Star Fatigue : Calerion [Dev Log 08]


Hello, and thank you for checking this post out. I've got a chunk of sprites done, and enough of the UI to showcase what I've been doing. Now that I have a weapons system (players can equip a weapon from inventory, and can attack with it, as well as draw it's range/attack/attack-speed) developed, my current priority is to get a few weapons out to use against my test-enemy and balance some of the stats to find a good baseline.

Here is a run down of the progress since last post:

  • Added a crosshair to the screen
  • Added new animations for the default unarmed moveset.
  • Designed a new UI, tying in stats, inventory, and health-based animation sets.

Not a whole lot on paper. A majority of this is the art-phase, meaning it's the same duration of time devoted to the project, with slightly diminished frequency of results.
