Star Fatigue : Calerion [Dev Log 06]


Hello, and thank you for checking this post out.  Last devlog was a whopping SEVENTY-ONE DAYS ago. Wow! A lot of transitional points occurred in my non-developer parts of life, so I took a little break'sie'pooh on this. Mostly on journaling my progress. Which is good! Because a lot of what I worked on wasn't really anything major.

Lastest Progress

I kept a change-log to help with this part of the posts. So that's good.

  • Added separate audio dampening system to dialogue (volume lowers when in dialogue)
  • Created Unarmed, Defense, and Chain resources to combine equipment stats and base stats in the future
  • Adjusted code in Unarmed, Defense, and Chain labels for player to track current stats
  • Fixed stamina bug, stamina is now able to be tweaked and regen rate has been lowered
  • Modelled, animated, and added sound effects to various facets of introduction level
  • Reduced Space-Door interaction area
  • Added dialogue for Sector 'Groz' Sign
  • Added dialogue for Wall Robot
  • Improved 'Groz' sign with color shifting lights
  • Created more trash assets

(I started it like 15 days ago, so a lot isn't covered)

The rest are things like UI, buttons, level-design, plot-writing, ect.

ALSO not noted, I did a main menu which you can find a skeleton of on the youtube channel I upload these dev-log-videos from, as well as a few other tidbits. 

What's Next?

I'm still procrastinating on working through the combat. I need to get a new art-tablet-pen to do artwork. For now, level designing, and then when I get the pen, I'll finalize the combat/leveling stuff. Then after THAT.. we'll have a proper fuckin' game.
